I came across another interesting site on dating Asian women that I wanted to pass along.

For example, in the Malaysia profile he discusses, among other ethnic groups, the difference between Chinese who have been educated in English and those educated in Chinese, and the implications for dating a westerner.

When visiting Asian countries for the first time, you will be startled by the sheer numbers of very pretty, if not beautiful, girls smiling invitingly at you. Selecting will be very hard. And when you think you have found the one ideal treasure of your choice, you’ll quickly see a better one around the corner. This is why most Americans find themselves dating many girls.

One vexing inconvenience is that Asian girls can be very easy to attract but much harder to get rid of. They can fall in love very quickly and, once in bed with you, may assume they are your “one and only.” This leads to embarrassing encounters. It is very common for a girl to show up unannounced at your hotel door early in the morning just as you are getting out of bed with someone else.

There are several ways to handle this.

One way is to have another room at a second nearby hotel and alternate your rendezvous. Another is to occasionally change your room at your main hotel and instruct the desk and switchboard operator to reveal your room number to no one.

Some men, when they have found a girl they are serious about but cannot stop the itch for another, will limit their choices to one per city. This involves the cost and nuisance of hopping from island to island but it effectively thwarts trouble.

Since, by the way, there are over 7,000 Philippine islands with umpteen more cities, your opportunities are limitless.

A final key way to juggle different girls is to tell each one very directly that you are “collecting” and will then be “selecting.” If you are very clear and firm about your goal to meet “just a few” girls and will then decide upon your one heart mate, you will find most will accept this explanation. They know intuitively that you will be seeing other girls. If you tell them upfront, while assuring them that they are in the running, they may not like it but will accept it and will appreciate your honesty in saying what most men don’t.

The American man may categorize US women as a tease, a ball-breaker, or a gold-digger. Some are sexually aggressive. Others may play hard to get. Too often they complain they are “too tired” or “not in the mood.” Problem is, you never know which you are going to get.

The Asian girl is different. She is much more consistent in her approach to lovemaking. Her culture breeds her to admire, support, love her man, and always be there for him. No matter what her mood or spirits, she is ready to “take care of” her lover. She may gently and demurely initiate sex. But more often she will simply readily and happily acquiesce to her man’s move.

I have had the experience of staying with a girl in my hotel and every time we returned from outside, she would close and latch the room door and automatically take off her clothes as naturally as she breathed. In short, she always wants to please you.

In fact, it is not uncommon for an Asian woman, after making love with you, to suggest you take a nap while she washes your underwear and socks, and squeezes toothpaste from your tube onto your toothbrush and setting it by the sink awaiting your pleasure. Such caring attention is unknown to the western woman. It is an almost mind-blowing experience for the unaccustomed western man.

Of all the Asians, I find the Chinese the oddest in making love. Many do not like to kiss. I’m not sure whether it is inherited as part of their culture, or whether it is based on their insistent demand for cleanliness. But it can be unsettling and frustrating for the man who wants to really make love rather than just having quick sex.

In general, you will experience a whole new world of lovemaking joy and fulfillment when you start dating Asian women.

 It is always wise to remember, “In Rome do what the Romans do.” Before visiting any Asian country it is imperative that you read about the government and the customs there. For instance, in Singapore the simple act of spitting in public can get you arrested. Shoplifting and petty burglary is common in certain Asian countries, which is one reason you often see so many security guards in the malls, by stores and outside hotels. The point is not that you would not commit such crimes yourself, but that eagle-eyed security guards are constantly on the lookout.

For the western man wanting to meet girls, there is one over-riding caveat. Asian girls quickly fall in love and become easily jealous. If you hurt her and/or show disrespect, she always has “cousins” ready to come to her aid. Also, it is a major risk to “hit on” a girl known to have a boyfriend. Westerners doing this have found themselves bloodied in the gutter. Finally, if you decide to date several girls at once, it can be smart to use two different hotels. Once you have bedded an Asian girl, she will often show up unannounced at your hotel room door just when you have another girl in bed.

Common sense tells you to be careful where you go out by yourself at night. Westerners can be the target both of muggers and pimps eager to lead you to a so-called private address where you will find no girl, or worse, robbers waiting to relieve you of your money.

When venturing out at night it is best to ask the hotel concierge for the safest destination. They will generally tell you exactly where and where not to go.

When drawing money from ATMs, do so in daylight where there are crowds around and do not show your money. Quickly tuck it in your pocket and then transfer it to your wallet later when you are alone.

It is also both wise and helpful to develop a friendship with at least one or two reliable individuals you can call if and when you encounter any problems. Carry their phone numbers with you at all times.

Using common sense will generally keep you out of trouble But no matter which Asian country you visit, you would do well to keep your eyes and ears always alert.

Forget Japan where dinner for two can cost you $200. And forget major cities like Beijing or Shanghai in China…or Singapore or Malaysia. Your best bets for living cheaply would be Thailand, Indonesia, Vietman, and the Philippines. If it is important to be among people who speak English, your best bet is the Philippines. This writer has found Cebu City on the island of Cebu to be the most congenial. Manila is crowded, suffers from intolerable air pollution, and can be costlier than other locales in the Philippines. Cebu is the second largest city in that nation and offers all the communication benefits a westerner wants such as ready Internet access, phone, fax, abundant ATMs and great shopping. In a mall such as Ayala you will find numerous upscale luxury stores for the finest in clothing and jewelry.

An American friend of mine rents a six-bedroom house for $380 US a month. He has two live-in maids and a live-in cook costing him about $45 US each per month. In fact, it was his website message that he “lives like a king” on $1,000 a month that drew me to Cebu for the first time. I have returned 4 times since and am thinking of living there part-time.

Hotels can range from $40 to $200 a day, depending on your need for luxury. I stay at the Cebu Midtown Hotel for $45 a day and I am one who requires comfort. The rooms are clean, the restaurant fine. Moreover, the hotel is centrally located and right next to Robinson’s Mall where you will find not just diverse shopping but plenty of girls to return smiles with. $2 US will take you by taxi to just about anywhere in the city, and a decent meal for two can be enjoyed for $10 or less. Flights are frequently available to other cities from Cebu, and Cebu itself is reached by air from Manila. Houses, condos and apartments are plentiful for rent or purchase.

Remember, too, that there are over 7,000 islands in the Philippines. If you live on a tight budget, you can live elsewhere than Cebu on well under $1,000 a month.

This depends on the country. These articles cover Asia only. So there will be no discussion of Europe or South America. But across the Pacific, there are certain differences by nation. In Japan, Korea, and Singapore few young women in their 20s or 30s will respond to western men twenty or thirty years older. A woman of 25 is likely to set her maximum acceptable age for a man at 40, perhaps 45. She is apt to be more comfortable with a man within no more than ten years of her age.

It is far different in Thailand, China, and the Philippines.

In these countries, it is not uncommon for a woman in her twenties to accept a man in his sixties. It is less common in China, more so in Thailand and the Philippines. This writer at the age of 65 experienced the love of a gorgeous young girl of 22 in Shanghai. Without question she would have married me. I returned to Shanghai to see her a second time and was impressed that she would not allow me to spend money on her. She just wanted to be with me. Though I left and decided not to pursue Yan Ping further, I have thought about her often since and wondered “what it?”

One reason girls of Thailand and the Philippines respond to older men is that they seek security. They live in poverty and want to be taken care of. They also appreciate a man who will help support their family – not with thousands of dollars, but with food and perhaps help with the rent. But in return for that security, it is part of their cultural instinct and training to really take care of their man. When you visit Thailand, and especially the Philippines, it is common to see western men in their 60s and 70s accompanied by young women of 22 to 25 or so.

When you first read the profiles of Thai and filipina girls on Internet dating sites, you will be surprised to see how many of them say that age is not important. They will say that “heart” is the most important quality they seek in a man.
